ReplyDeleteHmm... the design, I'm sure. Neat, clean, simple, personal. Also, photography--clear, beautiful pictures, and descriptive words, plus humorous bits. :)

Lots of white space, rather minimalist, with tasteful font usage. Not too many pictures of yourself, and tasteful photography that you did yourself.
ReplyDeleteAlso I had a question - with the new blogger interface I can't seem to find the minima template, and the simple template is incredibly difficult to customize. How would one find the minima template or what is the best of the others to customize? For now I cut and pasted the template from my blog, which had minima before the new interface, and am using that modified template as the base for all my designs, but I'd like to be able to start from scratch.
Hi, Maggie! I've had the same problem with the new Blogger interface. You can probably find the original Minima template online - just try Googling it. We tried uploading the template to our blog a few months ago, but apparently we had some technical difficulties and the links aren't working anymore. Sorry about that!
DeleteI, personally, have been copying and pasting my templates since Blogger forced me to switch to the new template. It's not ideal, but it's not a bad idea either!

a good and simple design, and to me the most important is being able to see into a person's heart through the blog, having their personality shine through their photos, design and all the little details of the blog!
